Mona Kastell is a freelance costume designer and maker for the entertainment industry.
Currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK she designs costumes for Theatre, TV, Film, events, Circus, Physical Theatre and street Arts, working with creative teams as well as individual performers.
Mona can create traditional costume design in terms of reconstructing the fashion of the time, for example corsets or crinolines that show the period by reshaping the body. Likewise, she offers more complex services such as creature costume, fabrication or costume effects, as well as body painting to metamorphosis performers into characters.
