In partnership with the eco-friendly shop the Portal, a group of designers included Mona Kastell have taken part in the Green Fashion at Queen Margaret University Green Week. Part of the students fashion show, the designers were asked to create some work to be on the catwalk.
The purpose of this event was to increase awareness to a more self-sustainable way of live and raise money for Friends of the Earth, Scotland.
Garments were inclusively made from recycled materials and second hand clothes. So many clothing go out of fashion so quickly that it is a great way to use and reuse to re-create fashion and diminish wastes.
