I’m delighted to announce that we are resuming work on the ‘I Like to Fly’ performance for the Qatari Theater Affairs Center after over 3 months of lockdown. With all the conversations about what kind of new normal we are going back into, isn’t it time to shake things up and create a new reality? We see this as the golden opportunity to relearn our working patterns and shift our attention towards transparency and wellbeing.
Being isolated as self employed has been quite hard for a lots of folks. The team decided to meet up online regularly during the past few months to support each other during the rising issues that self-isolation can bring.
It was important for us to hear from everyone in the team before making an actual plan to resume work. Since then, my wonderful right hand of a supervisor Katy Lonsdale & I have been organizing a return to work with a part time staggered timetable that allows a slow start back to gently set back into a routine and not shock our system. The team will be spread out in the workroom with a maximum number of people allowed in the space to allow safe distancing as well as following the recommended health guidelines.
We are navigating this new chapter with as much awareness as possible, learning everyday Watch this space!
