I’m exhibiting my World of Wearable Art costume
Featuring the work of 14 artists and their utilization of fabric as a medium.
As a Post 1950s innovation, non-natural fabrics and mixed fibers have enabled the medium of woven material to become one of high art. ‘Contextus’, is defined as that which is connected or woven together, or the circumstances in which an event occurs that seeks to bring to light through exhibition, the unusual, inventive and curious ways of using fabrics in new contexts.
